Jake Robinson was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and has a BFA in acting from Otterbein University. After moving to NYC, Jake interned for NBC casting in NYC during the Spring of his senior year. After showcasing Jake got picked up by Innovative Artists and Smith Talent Group for representation as well as Paradigm Agency for commercial work. Right out of the gate Jake was catching the eye of NY casting directors booking a recurring role on NBC's Smash and a short film for Showtime called Timmy Two Chins directed by Nancy Savoca. Jake went on to shoot two feature films Old 37 and Long Shot Louie, the latter just screened at Soho Film Festival.
Jake is best known for his portrayal of Bennet on the CWs The Carrie Diaries, starring opposite AnnaSophia Robb, Austin Butler, Freema Agyeman, and Brendan Dooling. Jake Robinson is a driven, caring, and passionate person who is committed to doing what it takes to be a complete person and actor.
